Scott Pruski is the principal of our firm, which he founded in the summer of 2000. A University of Michigan graduate in Economics, he became a Chartered Financial Consultant through the American College and has served investors since 1991. Scott previously worked with Northwestern Mutual and Robert W. Baird & Co. He has been a guest instructor on personal finance and investing for the University of Michigan Dental School and the Grand Valley State University MBA program. In addition to coaching high school ski teams, Scott has volunteered with the Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce; as an instructor with Junior Achievement; and as a speaker, author and grassroots coordinator with a national non-profit, non-partisan organization for Social Security reform. He lives with his wife Annie in Grand Rapids and when not busy raising their two daughters, they enjoy downhill skiing, cycling, running, fly-fishing, being outdoors and attending theater.
Mike Baker is an associate focused on investment research, analysis and operations. He is a graduate of Grand Valley State University with dual degrees in Computer Science and Statistics, and a minor in Mathematics. Mike first joined Summit Investment Guidance Partners in 2007 as an intern and became a full-time associate in the spring of 2009, after completing an internship with the technology group of Fidelity Investments in Boston. In his spare time, Mike enjoys photography, rowing and competitive shooting.
Steve Pangle is an associate focused on the consistency of our client experiences and best practices. He is a graduate of the University of Dayton with a degree in Finance and Business Economics. Steve joined Summit Investment Guidance Partners in 2011 after working with Mercantile Bank as an analyst. In his spare time, Steve enjoys sports, playing golf and coaching the Catholic Central High School rugby team.
